This is after the beginning of February, when the country banned the exporting of ammonium nitrate until April 1st, which after these latest round of sanctions, seems to be an inevitable ban now. 25% of the European supply of key crop ingredients, such as nitrogen, potash, phosphate and natural gas come from Russia.
Banning exports, will limit supply, and in turn, raise food prices.
